COUNCILLOR Smart To Move
THAT Council:
1. Write to the Roads and Traffic Authority and strongly request a review of the current continuous ‘No Stopping’ zone on the Pacific Highway outside Berowra Railway Station, south of the bus stop, to make this section of road a ‘Kiss and Drop zone’ or ‘No Parking’ to allow the community to have a designated legal area to set down passengers.
2. Make a further request to the Roads and Traffic Authority requesting that the newly constructed carpark at Berowra Railway Station be named ‘The Foster Memorial Carpark’ in honour of the local family that occupied the site until the 1960’s.

19 TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AT THE INTERSECTION OF RAY AND CARLINGFORD ROADS EPPING

THAT Council write to the RTA and request that the Authority acknowledge the current significant crash history at the intersection of Ray Road and Carlingford Road, Epping, and implement a solution which will not significantly increase traffic delays, until such time as the recommendations of the Epping Town Centre Study can be acted upon.
