Additional information with CHANGE to Recommendation
Council has received a letter from the proponent, LEFTA Corporation Pty Ltd, dated 13 May 2015 advising they wish to withdraw the Planning Proposal.
The proponent has advised they are supportive of the recommendation to consider residential development as part of the Waitara Employment Floorspace Review to be determined following the finalisation of the North Subregional Plan.
Given the other Planning Proposals lodged by Ezzy Architects on behalf of Bafarin Pty Ltd, the proponent advises that a more appropriate outcome may be achieved through the combined efforts of land owners in consultation with Council and in consideration of the pending North Subregional Plan.
Accordingly, it is recommended that part 1 of the recommendation be amended to acknowledge the withdrawal of the Planning Proposal.

THAT: 1. Council note the withdrawal of the Planning Proposal attached to Group Manager’s Report No. PL34/15. 2. Council consider the feasibility and impact of residential development as part of the Waitara Employment Floorspace Review and the priority of the Review be determined following finalisation of the North Subregional Plan. 3. Submitters be advised of Council’s resolution. |
