Additional information with CHANGE to Recommendation
The tender submissions from Sarkis Childcare Trust Others t/as Caring 4 Kids Pty Ltd were received under a Trust structure that nominated one name for the tender response schedules and all attachments, and a different name as the purchasing entity on the front page of the contract for sale.
Specifically, “Sarkis Childcare Trust Others t/as Caring 4 Kids Pty Ltd” ABN: 50 673 048 646 is the tender name appearing on the tender response schedules and all attachments and the purchasing entity name on the front page of the contract is “J. Sarkis Pty Ltd ATF Sarkis Childcare Trust & Niltil Holdings Pty Ltd ATF Joseph Wehbe Family Trust No. 2” ABN: 50 673 048 646.
Council’s legal advice recommends that the tender report recommendation be amended to reflect the purchasing entity name.

THAT: 1. In respect of Request for Tender No. RFT10/2015: Lease of Purpose Built Childcare Centre – 4-6 Linda Street, Hornsby, Council accept the tender from Heritage House Childcare & Early Learning Centre. 2. In respect of Request for Tender No. RFT11/2015: Lease of Purpose Built Childcare Centre – 679 Blaxland Road, Eastwood, Council accept the tender from J. Sarkis Pty Ltd ATF Sarkis Childcare Trust & Niltil Holdings Pty Ltd ATF Joseph Wehbe Family Trust No. 2. 3. In respect of Request for Tender No. RFT12/2015: Lease of Purpose Built Childcare Centre – 31 Shepherds Drive, Cherrybrook, Council accept the tender from J. Sarkis Pty Ltd ATF Sarkis Childcare Trust & Niltil Holdings Pty Ltd ATF Joseph Wehbe Family Trust No. 2. 4. The prices be made public upon formal acceptance of the tenders. |

15 CONDOLENCE MOTION - MRS ASHA CHOPRA
It is with great sadness I advise that Mrs Asha Chopra passed away on Saturday, 27 June 2015.
Mrs Asha Chopra was the wife of Mr Dilip Chopra, who served as a B Ward Councillor from September 2008 until September 2012.
Asha had been married to Dilip for 45 years, was the mother of their son Vikram and daughter Sonal, and was a great support to Dilip throughout his professional and political life. Asha had also been involved with many charities and had served as President of the Inner Wheel Club.
It is recommended that Council formally express its sincere condolences to the Chopra family as part of tonight’s Meeting.

THAT: 1. Council express its sincere condolences to the family of Mr Dilip Chopra in respect of the recent passing of his wife, Mrs Asha Chopra. 2. A message of sympathy be forwarded to Mr Chopra’s family on behalf of Council. |
