Additional information with CHANGE to Recommendation
Since the finalisation of Director’s Report No. PL1/20, clarification has been sought on the wording of some matters within the final Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS).
The updates to the LSPS were workshopped with Councillors on 5 February 2020. As a result of discussions, the following additional changes to the final LSPS are recommended for accuracy and clarification:

It is recommended that the final LSPS be further amended for clarification as outlined above and endorsed and submitted to the Greater Sydney Commission for final assurance.
THAT: 1. The Hornsby Local Strategic Planning Statement attached to Director’s Report No. PL1/20 and as amended by Late Item Memo No. LM1/20, be endorsed and Final Assurance sought from the Greater Sydney Commission. 2. The General Manager be delegated authority to make any minor changes to the Hornsby Local Strategic Planning Statement in response to feedback received from the Assurance Panel and approve the LSPS for publication on the NSW Planning Portal. 3. Council endorse the publication of the Engagement Outcomes Report attached to Director’s Report No. PL1/20 on Council’s website. |
