1                    LPP27/25     DA/517/2025 - Change of Use of Hall 1 & Hall 2 to Community Facilities - 296 Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the Hornsby Local Planning Panel, exercising the functions of Council as the consent authority, approve Development Application No. DA/517/2025 for the change of use of Hall 1 and Hall 2 within the Hornsby Shire Council Administration Building from Public Administration Building to Community Facility at Lot 1 DP 564600 and Lot 1 DP 564599, Administration Building, No. 296 Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby subject to the conditions of consent in Attachment 2 of LPP Report No. LPP27/25.

PANEL’S CONSIDERATION AND DETERMINATION

The Panel resolved to adopt the consultant town planners report recommendation and approve the proposed development subject to the conditions contained in Attachment 2 of the report.

The reasons for this decision are:

·                   The proposed development generally complies with the requirements of the relevant environmental planning instruments and the Hornsby Development Control Plan 2024.

·                   The proposed development does not create unreasonable environmental impacts to adjoining development with regard to traffic, carparking or acoustic amenity, subject to the recommended conditions of consent.
