10 NSW GOVERNMENT'S PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION TO COUNCIL

I would like to table and circulate to Councillors the correspondence (see attached) that I have just received from the NSW State Government. I propose that the correspondence be noted and that I continue to assertively progress and discuss this matter with the Government.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT:

1.         Council receive and note the contents of the letter attached to Mayoral Minute No. MM8/19 which was received from The Hon. Dominic Perrottet M.P. on 24 July 2019 in respect to the payment of compensation to Council by the NSW Government.

2.         The Mayor continue to assertively progress and discuss the compensation issue with the NSW Government.
